RJD Partners are a private equity firm who invested in the Group in 2012. They specialise in the services and leisure sectors in the UK, particularly in the lower mid-market.
They backed the management buyout in July 2012, after first coming into contact with the Group in early 2010. John Dillon and Alex Hay joined the board, along with Richard Grainger as non-executive chairman.
They have a history of investment in British firms providing financial services, including Ipes and Cardsave. They outline the qualities they initially look for in a firm as:
- A strong service proposition.
- Recurring revenues.
- The ability to grow either organically or through acquisition.
